President Franklin Roosevelt took office during the Great Depression, and his administration created programs aimed at fixing the economic and social problems of this period. On this topic, you will write a one- to two-page essay that answers the following prompt: Analyze the responses of President Franklin Roosevelt’s administration to the problems of the Great Depression. How effective were these responses? How did they change the role of the federal government?
