If there was one thing you could reform in Texas or the United States to change for the better what would that be and why?

Reforming the power grid.

Explanation: The Texas Interconnection is a power grid separated from the Eastern/Western Interconnections (which maintain the majority of the contiguous United States). This separate grid was created for political and economic reasons, to evade federal regulation which comes from being on one of the larger grids. Being on this separate grid comes with unreliability, as showcased by a massive outage in February 2021, which affected millions. Reforming the Interconnection to be absorbed by one of the main East/West Interconnections would result in a much more solid power infrastructure, protecting the people of Texas.
