Ancient Egypt had pharaohs as their leaders. Similar to kings, pharaohs were picked by whoever was next in the bloodline. Pharaohs were on top of the social structure, followed by nobles and priests, soldiers, scribes, merchants, artisans, farmers and finally slaves.
