What are the causes and effects of overgrazing?

If animals that rely on eating plants eat to much to where there is a lack of plants they start to die causing the animals that rely on eating them to die and it keep repeating basicly causing a chain reaction, the effect if that many species' populations will start to decline from lack of food

River valleys were good places for hunting and fishing.
