Well, abraham lincoln, i agree was a great president he was a great guy he became famous by some of his many names honest abe  the the rail-splitter  the tycoon  but he only freed the slaves to save the united  states he said if there was a way to keep slaves and save the usa i would do it so he actually did care but he was torn between his country  and slaves   but he freed them to save our country because slaves were tearing the usa in 2 because half of the us wanted slaves and the other half did. so i think lincoln  did the right thing that's what makes him a good guy he had great leadership during the civil war thats  why he was called the tycoon i think if we had him and george  washington as generals we would have won many battles we did not win lincoln had many goals  for our country 1.unity 2. prosperity he wanted us to grow and i think if booth did not shoot him he could have done a lot of great things for us
