#1) In what ways does Siberia present Russia with great advantages and great challenges?

 Siberia's enormous natural resources are being exploited by Russia.This vast area has long been seen as somewhere to be plundered and exploited for profit. It's just virgin territory that needs to be tamed and turned into contracts and cash, and that presents a big challenge. Today it is still the object of crude and inhuman economic and enviromental management on a massive scale.
