Poland was, for a very long time, the home of the largest Jewish community of the whole world. This peaceful life of the Jewish community would start to disappear after 1772, with the Russian Empire persecuting them and, eventually, in the World War II, when they were hunted by the Nazis.

Poland was not known for their incredible economy and also, the Jewish community from Poland started to suffer earlier, which caused them to be less successful economically speaking and, therefore, less influential and less educated as well.

1882 - the chinese exclusion act was passed.

1893 - the panic of 1893 took place. (what a creative name)

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)
