What documents did americans look to when creating a new government? why do you believe that these documents were used?

The Magna Carta and the English Bill of Rights were influences to the government for America. They were most likely used because England had limited the power of kings and queens in two documents. This means that they wanted a government that was limited however the kings and queen still had power, which is why the Americans had inflicted more rules in the document.
