Two Strengths of the US which allowed them to defeat Imperial Japan were that they worked together, they had superior tactics than the Japanese they planned each attack thoroughly while the Japanese it seemed did a type of Gorilla warfare, Another strength of the US is their determination, They were determined to defeat Imperial Japan because they attacked Pearl Harbor with no provocation, so Americans responded in kind. It also didn't help that the US were better equipped.
