Based on what you know, why were most major cities in the North?

The US South's economy was destroyed by the civil war, and they were a mostly agricultural society, which meant that they were pretty spread out into small towns and farm. While the North was a more factory and manufacturing based economy, which meant that they built up around factories and could be more compact then a massive cotton farm.

well let's see i know a little about the fall of the roman empore but what to say i do not have a clue of what to say.
