Well I would be a patriot because England did not treat us fairly. By leaving our economy improved a lot because you didn't have England spiting us and taking cuts of everything. Socially speaking we were off way better because there was not super crazy taxes, strict trading laws, unfair and cruel soldiers, and no more taking orders from the queen of England.
