Anybody know of a news story that fits these requirements?
for this project you will choose a historical current event that happened in the past week. it is important that the event you choose is no more than 7-10 days old on the day that you submit the project.
your event needs to be world focused – meaning it has to have occurred outside the us or involve more than one country.
on-going situations can be used if you choose one specific event that both articles focus on. (both must be about one specific bombing in an on-going war, for instance). if you want to be sure, send your teacher a message asking if the topic you chose is appropriate or not before starting your work.
stories about sports, celebrities, documentaries, and other such entertainment news do not count as a current event.
