Why did some people in the early twentieth century think that women should be denied the right to vote?

Sexism was even more of a problem at the time than it is now. Men, and even women, were taught their whole lives that women were not as smart, strong, or capable as men. This deep-rooted sexism made many people believe that women were not intelligent enough to vote.

report examines the threat posed by al qaeda affiliates in the middle east and africa as described

by u.s. officials and outside observers, as well as the u.s. approach to date in responding to these
