Why were the Bill of Rights added to the Consitution? A.
They were added because Madison knew the people had to accept the Constitution, and without their rights being listed people were not as likely to support the Constitution.

Because the Bill of Rights had been specifically stated in the Articles of Confederation, and Madison knew the people would expect them in the Constitution.
