4. Write a short paragraph stating the Constitutional process by which a president appoints a member of the cabinet or a justice of the U. S. Supreme Court, and evaluating the principle(s) of government behind that process.
5. Explain how the president you chose won the office by answering the following questions about one of his successful elections:
(a) Which president and election year did you choose?
(b) Which major candidates opposed him?
(c) Who won the most overall votes (the popular vote)?
(d) Who won the most votes in the Electoral College? Was it a majority? If not, how was the election determined?
