In 1760, following the signing the Treaty of Paris, virtually all of North America that had been French, was suddenly British. The might have been the beginning of long standing British control over a vast empire based on raw materials, agriculture and manufacturing connected by unfettered Atlantic trade. Yet in less than a decade revolution was in in the air. Discuss slavery, the Seven Years War, Pontiac's War, and anything else from this period of time, that may explain the conditions that led to the beginning of the American Revolution.
