Why do states have the same number of representatives in the Senate but different numbers in the House of Representatives? This was copied from the method of representation in the British Parliament.

The number of representatives are meant to be to that state’s population there is also different number in the House of Representatives because each and every state is entitled to 1 representative in the House of Representatives
