Much of the territory Americans moved west to settle was not ours originally. How did we obtain that territory and do you believe that the territorial gain was justifiable?

If not all most of the land was gained through purchases or wars. We bought them from nations that took them from the natives who lived there. Do you think it’s justifiable?
