The 2nd paragraph: Paragraph 2:
This paragraph is for them to analyze how people used science/warnings/etc. and how effective their decisions were. They must select a specific examples of a decision that was made and the consequences of that decisions,
These 5 elements should be present in their paragraph:
1.What decision was made (specific), ,,,Hint :bad decisions are easier to critique.
2.What science was used (or ignored) by leaders in making this particular decision,
3.Did they make a good decision or not? What evidence is there to support your claim?
4.Hurricane Katrina killed around 1800 people and cost over $120 billion in damage. What
improvement would you recommend so that next time there would be fewer deaths and less property damage? (In other words, what lessons can be learned from this experience?)
5.Explain why your recommendation is a good one.
