Describe a positive consequence of the green revolution

The green revolution was the third agricultural revolution that happened between 1950 to 1960.

There were many positive consequence of the green revolution and one of them was: improvement in the economic condition of farmers, and improved their standard of living.

Green Revolution increased the production of crops that helped in the reduction of imports of crops and finally farmers got benefit by selling more of their crops.
