The Second Continental Congress of colonial delegates was organized in 1775 and functioned as the first government of the United States. The Congress issued the Declaration of Independence and wrote the Articles of Confederation.

The Articles of Confederation served as the first confederation among the thirteen states but faced overwhelming problems. Write a report of 200 words that highlights the specific problems created by the weakness of the Articles of Confederation. The Second Continental Congress, guided by Pennsylvania delegate John Dickinson, swore loyalty to the Crown and requested tax reforms in the Olive Branch Petition. This petition was a final effort by the Congress to avoid war with Great Britain

5. clinton: defense of marriage act. clinton signed this controvesial act, which defined marriage and spouses in strict heterosexual perspective, that was later declard unconstitutional by the us supreme court.

6. george w bush: in the begining of his presidency, which lasted until 2009, bush jr faced the greatest terrorist attacks in us and probably the worlds history, in september, 11 of 2001.

7. obama: in attempts to cease a great economical crisis, barack obama signed the controversial recovery act in february 2009, which handled 780-billion dollars.
