Explanation:First of all, many men joined the army to fight. Therefore a shortage of laborers emerged, that need created opportunities for women and minorities. It was different than in the first world war because then women weren't paid in some cases. However, in the second world war, they were paid for their jobs. Even though, many of them joined ammunition or weaponry factories that made them run incredibly risks. Also, they found positions in the government and influential positions that cleared the sight of society to include them in the economy as well in activities after the war.
