What was the Founder's intent in having judges appointed rather than elected? since they are not elected, judges do not have to worry about whether or not their decisions are popular or not

appointments are easier to complete and therefore would ensure judicial seats are always quickly filled

the Founders actually didn't set up appointment of judges; it was established through a Constitutional Amendment

Judges are appointed to ensure that politics influence all their decisions
