Track and Field.
The ancient Olympics that were held at Olympia since approximately 776 B.C. had both track and field events. Track events included a stade race, which is the early variant of a sprint, a two-stage race, and a long-distance run. Field events were very similar to what we know today, and involved a long jump, discus, shot put and javelin.
