Why did the Egyptians have so much
"stuff" in their tombs?

A tomb is a place in which you are buried when you die. The ancient Egyptians believed that life did not stop when you died. Rather, death was more like a temporary stop on your way to another place, a place they called the afterlife. ... When a pharaoh died in ancient Egypt, the pharaoh was buried in a royal tomb. Extravagant jewelry of gold, lapis lazuli, and carnelian, cups of gold and silver, bowls of alabaster, and extraordinary objects of art and culture were found in royal tombs.

They all die dude, they are all gone.
