In this speech by Patrick Henry, he tries to convince his fellow Virginians that they should oppose the British government and become independent. In which set of sentences does he most clearly state his commitment to seeking independence? I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve.
