They have to listen to boring speeches and announcements, and they have to make sure they don't skrew up at all times, since a mistake could end their starting career. Presidents have to make laws and decisions which are supplied by Republicans and Democrats, whom are always arguing and fighting. A Republican may push for something while a Democrat may pull it back which calls for fights and arguments all day long. They need to side with the side who has better understanding, less consequences, and possible less or more outcomes depending on what they are looking for.
