The flag of the United States of America - known as the Stars and Stripes, Old Glory and the Star-Spangled Banner - consists of thirteen horizontal stripes of equal size, seven red and six alternating white, and a blue rectangle in the sector of the upper left corner with fifty white five-pointed stars.
