DUE TODAY PLEASE HELP Write a journal entry of two paragraphs describing your travels to participate in the Athenian Assembly. Imagine you are an Athenian citizen, and this is your first opportunity since your twentieth birthday to participate in the political process. You live at least eight miles from the meeting place of the agora, in the center of the city of Athens. As a citizen involved with direct democracy, you are expected to arrive on time and participate by speaking and voting.

Your journal should answer the following questions:

With whom will you be traveling? Would it be unsafe to go alone or even with just two people?
How many days do you think it will take you to get to Athens?
How will you get there? Your choice is either on foot or by a cart if you are wealthy enough to own one.
What will occur when you get to the Assembly?
Did you speak at the Assembly?
Did you get to vote, and if so, on what legislation?
How did it feel to participate in the Assembly for the first time?
