Why are teachers not allowed to lead students in a prayer? Teachers are not qualified to teach all of the religions found in a school so therefore, must avoid all religious rites.

Prayer violates the students’ right to privacy as found in Amendment Six.

If included in the curriculum it would violate the students’ First Amendment rights.

Students are not old enough to make their own decisions regarding religion so therefore, it cannot be taught.
