6. Ida Tarbell was also a journalist whose works report the unfair dealings in the business world. She brought some unfair practices in the oil company and helped bring forth the establishment of rules for fair dealings in the business world.

7. Jane Addams was an American settlement activist who advocated for the creation of settlement houses for immigrants.

8. Jacob Riis was a social reformer who dealt with the struggles of immigrants and poverty in society. he helped in publicizing the crisis of the society such as education, housing, and poverty.
