Explanation:

In Ancient Rome, people used to live either in insulae or domus. These dwellings were suggestive of the people who lived in these layouts whether they were wealthy or poor.

Insulae were the layouts where most of the population in Ancient Rome resided. It was a 3 to 5 storey building where approx 30 to 50 people could live. These buildiings were not strong enough to bear any calamity and were prone to get damage or collapse in such cases.

Whereas, domus were the private homes where wealthy families resided. In domus large wealthy family used to dwell. All the domus were almost structured in similar pattern. A domus usually consisted of many rooms such as bedroom, dining room, living room, and office rooms  in comparison to insulae.
