Pre-Writing Rough Draft Prompt: Discuss the benefits and problems of capitalism and socialism, and evaluate which system provides the greater overall benefit to society

If I had to choose one or the other, it would definitely be Capitalism. Socialism works against human nature, and most Socialists believe that societal changes can lead to the evolution of human nature, and that this is inevitable. Capitalism works with human nature, and allows people to give out of the goodness of their hearts if they so choose.  Also, while Capitalism promises equal opportunity, with individuals getting at least what they put into their work, Socialism promises equal outcome, the only outcome being poverty. Capitalism is synonymous with freedom, and Socialism is a lack of freedom.
