Here in this verse we can see that God made them a garment made out of Skin (an animal) to cover their nakedness.

This verse is a shadow of the things yet to come, which is Jesus dying for our sins, paying our price, taking away our sins.

Lambs are considered as symbol of purity as they are used for cleansing sin in the old testament. Whereas Jesus is the lamb of God, Son of God offered himself as the sacrifice for the whole world.
