The difference between the historic Rizal and Symbolic Rizal:

The historic Rizal was Jose Rizal, a polymath, skilled in both science and the arts.  This Philippine patriot, writer, and poet was executed by the Spanish Colonial Authorities in 1896 for dazzling and insulting the authorities with his liberal political ideas and fights with the pen.

The symbolic Rizal represents all that Jose Rizal stood for, including nationalism, democracy, political liberalism, free expression, heroism, and especially his iconic symbol: "a pen is mightier than the sword."

According to history, José Rizal (1861-1896) was a national hero of the Philippines and the first Asian nationalist, who used his artistic works to champion democratic practises and galvanized the national consciousness of many Filipinos by vigorously opposing Spanish colonial tyranny.

7. obama: in attempts to cease a great economical crisis, barack obama signed the controversial recovery act in february 2009, which handled 780-billion dollars.
