Why do people from Africa have accents but African Americans don't, why?

Their ancestors had an accent which has passed on through generations which gives them an accent. African Americans have the same accent as Americans as their accent has changed over time.

I believe the answer to your question is because of the native language that people in Africa speak which gives them their accent. while African Americans have grown up speaking english which does not really bring out their accents from their heritage much.
