I AM GIVING 20 POINTS TO WHOEVER ANSWERS THIS: Pretend that you are a Texas resident in May 1919. Next month, the state legislature will vote on whether to approve the 19th Amendment, which will give women the right to vote.
Write a letter to Senator Clark, who represents you in the Texas Legislature, explaining why you support or oppose women’s suffrage. The letter should be three paragraphs. The first paragraph should tell about you, the writer. The second paragraph should state your position and give two solid reasons to support it. The third paragraph should say why women’s suffrage would be good or bad for the United States of America and should urge the senator to vote to yes or no on the amendment.
