What are Burke's reasons for predicting a Napoleon?
A. He knows that the National Assembly wants to gain territory and add to France's dominions. .He knows that the only way they can do this is by aggressive military expansion. He reasons that a great general will appear soon.
B. He argues that since all authority has been despised, and the National Assembly is the sole power, all will be chaos until a general arrives and causes might to make right.
C. Based on the example of the American Revolution, he reasons that war always breaks out under capable people determined to obtain their freedom. The French Revolution has just broken out, and war is inevitable.
