What were Displaced Persons Camps

A prime example is this week 75 years ago, the holocaust after the camps were liberated by the Russians and Americans all the survivors found were taken back to america and Russia and placed into displaced person homes as they had nothing left after being in the camps these displaced person camps were used to start rebuilding the lives of broken people, reunite families and to gain back the strength in their bodies. Around the concentration camps every type of disease was present so in the displaced persons camps there were hospitals and medics trying to help fight off the disease.
