When talking about Hawaii and Cuba, we understand that the biggest concept on why we wanted to
invade/annex those countries is because it would be considered and U. S. territory and all the
imports/exports from those areas would be cheaper and the U. S. would end up having an abundance of
it for themselves and to trade off as well. In today's standards, are there any countries that have tried to
invade another due to the abundance of a certain product? Explain. (Hint: think about the USSR in the
Middle East in 1988, The Gulf War, Afghan/Iraqi War)
