At that time, the United States was engaging in a peaceful resolution with Japan to create peace in Asia. Aggrieved at the deceptive act of the Japanese, the United States President at that time, Roosevelt had a meeting with Congress. The outcome of this led to the declaration of war against Japan and all its allies. The United States government recruited the Military and supplied enough arms and ammunition to the British Empire and the Soviet Union, thereby changing to a War economy.
