Imagine your city builds a new high school. half the students at your current high school will have to attend the new one next year. you are one of them. the school board calls a meeting to name the new school and select a mascot for its extracurricular programs. one meeting turns into several as emotions run high. everyone has a different opinion on the name and mascot for the school. some people favor naming it after a historical figure. yet no one can agree on which one. others think it should reflect local culture. people have suggested animals ranging from ants to yaks for the mascot.
