ACT Aspire tests are suitable for all students excluding those who have the most serious cognitive impairments. Some students need alternative tests centered on alternative achievement standards (AAS), as defined by states and local school districts, to address their specific needs.

It is a valuable strategy to support students and their guardians track progress throughout third grade to tenth grade towards a productive ACT test. The Aspire test evaluates the preparation of the students in five covered areas by the ACT measure: English, Math, Read, Science, and Writing.
