During the nineteenth century countries such as Germany, Portugal, Spain and England were the ones in charge of exploiting the natural resources of the region for decades, colonizing countries and abusing the Latin American working class. The United States arrived in another phase of history, after the aforementioned countries, but today it has already become the world power that keeps Latin America under the yoke of US imperialism.
