What is buddhism ultimately about ?

Buddhism is not exactly a religion like Judaism, Christianity or Islam. There isn´t one true god, as the monotheistic religions preach. It´s a religious philosophy , a philosophy of life.

It encourages a search for the spiritual perfection that can be achieved by man´s own efforts (meditation, concentration, mind peace, practice of kindness to others), not through divine grace. It aims at liberating the soul from suffering, fear and delusions, from wants and attachment to earthly things. In Buddhism, the state of mind liberation , that point of maximal spiritual achievement is called nirvana, an awakening. Buddha - who´s a teacher, not a god - attained nirvana. Buddha means "the awakened one."  His name was Siddharta Gautama, and was born into a Hindu royal family.

health care plans in the united states having high costs because they are focusing on providing quality programs for different groups of individuals. the quality of the service is based on money flow received from the members. without this investment, couldn't be possible a constant scientific searching to prevent death and illness caused because of low levels of health investigation. currently, the complaints are not about the highest cost, but about the coverage and benefits to access the necessary health services required by the members.  

besides, if a global health system is established the quality levels will fall down because of the standardized of the health. the access to care will increase but the quality will be low because it depends on the money invested.
