What was the effect of the stalemate on north korea and south korea?

The effect of the stalemate on North Korea and South Korea is the perpetuation of the tension between these two countries.

The Stalemate is defined as the draw in chess. In the context of the North Korea and South Koreas conflict the draw has stablished a status quo of the political government of the two countries.  

In North Korea the Communist Political view have perpetuated in power. The di9ctatorship of the Workers Party of Korea have ensured that the democracy was totally abolished from the political perspective. Unfortunately, the dictatorship has isolated the country for trade and economic growth.  

North Korea has become a nation with a lot of social problems as freedom of speech and movement is not allowed to their citizens.

On the contrary the South Korean nation state it’s under the capitalist economic system. This system has allowed the development of a democracy. The democracy has ensured sustainable economic growth and the boost of South Korean Economy up to the point of making the country one of the most powerful economies in the region.
