The engligment philosophies mostly Natural Rights and Social Contract impacted the American revolution
Natural rights were Unalienable rights, Rights That we yours by nature. These rights encouraged the colonies and people in those colonies to rebel against the ruling monarch for the way he was treating them. And the social contact which was a contract that was man made that according to a philosopher Jean-jaccques Rosseau was a contract that stated that the people gave power to the ruling government and the government offered protection which was not exactly what the king was doing. So they created a revolution against the king.
The Enlightenment was the root of many of the ideas of the American Revolution. It was a movement that focused mostly on freedom of speech, equality, freedom of press, and religious tolerance.
