Why did thomas jefferson not attend the constitutional convention in 1787?

Thomas Jefferson not attend the Constitutional Convention in 1787 because He was serving as a minister in France.

Thomas Jefferson was an American statesman, diplomat, lawyer, architect, and Founding Father. Thomas Jefferson served in all three of the first three presidential administrations in the United States of America (The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii). He was the first Secretary of State, serving under George Washington. After Washington stepped down, he competed against John Adams and lost. However, the vote guaranteed him the position of Vice President. Finally, in 1800, he became the third President of the United States.  Previously, he had served as the second vice president of the United States from 1797 to 1801.

Thomas Jefferson did not do anything at the Constitutional convention because he did not attend it. He was serving as Ambassador to France at the time and was in Paris.
