How did the decline of the mugal empire in the 1700's happen

The decline of the Mughal empire in the 18th century had more than one reason.

Some of the most important reasons that led to the decline of the great Mughal Empire are:

A.Wars of succession:

Amongst the Mughals there was no law of succession. Hence every time there was a ruler who died, the war of succession between the brothers started and this weakened the Empire.

B.Weak policies of Aurangzeb:

He lost the support of the "Rajputs". Moreover after the wars with the "Sikhs, the Marathas, the Jats", the resources of the "Mughal Empire" was drained out.

C.Weak successors of Aurangzeb:

The "successors" were inefficient and incapable to stand against the revolts. At this point, the army was weak too.

D.Drain of resources:

Shah Jahan’s constructions of monuments and tombs led to the depletion of the resources.  

E.Foreign invasions:

The depletion of wealth was further aggravated by the invasions of "Nadir Shah" and "Ahmad Shah Abdali".

2 some colonist were loyal to britian   which were called the loyalist
