research a country (other than your own) that is currently going through a war or one in which
war has just ended. research the lives of the people and make a list of what their problems are.
then, make a compare and contrast chart to compare their lives with those of the freed slaves
after the civil war.
explain how war changes the lives of the people who survive it and the hardships war causes.
explain how the people are the same after the war and how they are different.
when you have finished, submit this assignment. document your sources and use the
research paper rubric for reference. remember to write in complete sentences and use all
appropriate capital letters, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
